I already got something else goin' on....it's a bit different than what I'm used to, but it's already more fun...LOL

D you mean loud and obnoxious??  it's not that I don't like the guys in the band, I'm very good friends with a couple of them (the singers' been a best friend of mine for over 25 years and I work with the other guy) I just never liked the direction the band took from teh get go...the bassplayer kinda planted his roots as the 'direction' maker and by the time we realized it (or should I say, I realized it) it was too late.. fun went out the window, robotic song reproduction took its place... the band I'm workin' with now is a completely different animal...4 people with me included, female singer..lots of different types of songs....but it's already more fun... |

you mean loud and obnoxious?? Yes, that is what I mean. I am sure the guys in the band are all right. I did a drive by on your website and the songs that you were doing as a band don't seem to be the same as the ones that are close to your musical interests i.e. heart. On the pos. the singer sounded good. Buy a PA. 16 channel board + 2 powered monitors + $1200 (used.) I don't know if it will be loud enough to get out in front of your QR. HeeHee D |

HeeHee D see, that's the thing...I'm more eclectic when it comes to songs than you'd think..oh yeah, with a nickname like 'shredder' (that was GIVEN to me because it kinda sounds like my last name by the way...I got it in high school..really had nothing to do with how good I thought I was or whatever..lol), it may seem like I'm all about the metal...and I'm a pretty big headbanger... but I like stuff all over the map..duran duran, pat benetar, annie lennox, some styx....boston, VH, some Zepplin, The Who to me, as long as a song's fun to play then I'm happy... the new band I'm working with..we're all over the map..but we will NOT be playing any emo b.s. like fallout boy or cake or starting line or any of that crap..that's 12 year old girl music...the bassplayer had a hard on for that stuff cause it's all over the radio..we'd play it and BAM, nobody would know it...because 12 year old girls ain't buyin' beers in a bar at 12 30 am..lol the new band, as I said, is all over the map...AC/DC, tom petty, Twisted sister, Duran Duran, Kansas, Alanis, Ethridge, boston, wild cherry..gonna be adding more hair stuff in there too..probably some Wasp, dokken, VH..all kinds of stuff.... |
