Becker was the king of shredders, he was SOOOOOOO good. Ever see his Serrana arpeggios video? Oh my GAWD. He had it all chops and feel and groove. If you don't have DLR's a Little aint a enough record or his Perpetual Burn cd, you owe it to yourself to get those.

the principal comes over and tells him to turn down...hehehehe....he doesn't....heheheh...hey, how did he get Walter Payton to play bass for him?....and, sorry, I don't care how old this guy is/was: it's yet another 'LOOK AT ME SHRED' super hero clip...so much horsecrap in my book....obviously talented and obviously inspired by Blackmore and YM but....his 'timing' was all off, he wasn't playing 'with' the drummer definitely not in the pocket....just yet another 'look at me' schmoe...there are thousands of em out there...

for the love of god, he was in phucking high school...lol..and this was TWENTY YEARS AGO!
besides, it's called a SOLO..the principal said at much....a GUITAR SOLO....note: the principal didn't say 'and now for your entertainment, jason becker will bore you to death the 4 bar blues, playing three notes a minute, with a smattering of slow, deliberate double stop riffs'....
cripes almighty..lol...
anyway, becker CAN'T practice anymore because he's got lou gehrig's disease..
