Rock You Like A Hurricane solo isn't really that bad at all. Just dig in! Now, Blackout is another story. The solo in it is kind of hard.
Mr. Crowley is not that bad either. Its just remember everything. It one of those tunes that you have to listen to over and over so you remember every lick. It not, just remember what key you are in and jam something! LOL

I think if your up on theory and scales you'll be able to pull it off. I'd just improvise over the solo spots to get a feel for it. I'm not patient enough nor anal enough to do cover songs exact. I think as long as you have the vibe and attitude going you can pull it off and do the song some justice This was my first recording to pc I did several years ago...with a J-Station and cakewalk guitar tracks pro www.shawnlutz.com/crowley1mix3.mp3www.shawnlutz.com/mrcrowley2mix2.mp3hmmmm, what the heck are you talking about dude? How much more exact can you get,, LMAO. thats a helluva lot closer than I would have played it. You don't have the patience but you recorded it and doubled the solo like Randy,, whatever,,, hahahaha. nice clip.

It is close enough for me but you'd be surprised on on how many people over analyze stuff. I don't have patience learning cover stuff...playing it is no problem when I sorta figure it out

i have to admit, i'm not doing so bad...have the first 2 solos worked up and 70% of the outro solo...just have to work up the other 30%...i'm feeling a little better about my audition...i still have another week at least to finalize things...

LOL it isn't too too bad...thing is, I'm no good at coppin' another guy's stuff...so my fingers tend to fall into what's comfy for ME to play or what I'D do if it were 'my' lead, ya know?

Thats why I always just improvise over the backing track of where the solos are for a while just to get a feel for the tune before I dig in and try to learn it. Once you cop the feel and attitude everything seems to fall into place a little easier for me anyway...
