Al Estrada should go for this gig. Hes way better than Russ was and would certainly make more dough. I wonder if he has a day job? Anybody know him?

Anybody know him? someone said the same exact thing on harmony central..and I agree.....I liked AP better as a band, but think al's the better guitarist..even though russ is no slouch =D aren't they located in california though?

I've heard a couple of his lead clips....not really doin' a VH cover, but he's definetly got the vh vibe down, in addition to the tone...

I remember going to see Russ play in Cleveland before he moved to LA. I always thought he was great. I saw him play before I even played guitar... But Al,, man Al's got the VH thing down AND just chops that are insane. He would kill that gig. I hope they get someone really good. VHolic seems like a good player, but has he ever played a gig or been in a pro band?

The thing the Punks have thats hard to beat is Ralph. I mean that guy is sooooo good. Hes a great singer not just with VH stuff, but he has DLR down. I played a show with them years ago when I was in Superfreak in Pittsburgh I think it was.., but it wasn't the Punks it was his Danger Kitty side project thing where they did 80's stuff and dressed up etc... They had a different guitar player though who wasn't real great.
