randy was a god...how could you watch that footage and not agree that the was one of the best ever...
i came across this rare video footage of him at a soundcheck in san antonio....

I am personally biased toward him ...I like his style, his tone? well... the live tone he had in that clip is MUCH better than anything he ever had on tape for sure though..it actually wasn't half bad...it's no splawn, but what can ya do  |

I saw him doing a sound check once (a video of course) and man, was it GOD AWFUL! you'd think he was playin' a hollow body stuffed with tissues...ugh.... |
