I really like the sound and i'm curious to know what do you use as far as gear ? Is it all from the splawn amp or do you use some distorsion pedal or anything  |

the dirrty one uses no distortion pedals..that's all amp
all the clips you hear on this site are all amp..no need for a boost pedal =D

In any case, this amp sound fantastic...It's hard to believe that splawn amps are not on every stage yet !
I'm from Canada and slowly discovering about Splawn amps and very amaze about the product.

Thank you again for the reply Marty Wells hey man..no problem... and thanks for the compliment..yep, I go straight in....only thing I have in the chain is a senheiser wireless..and that's it...no wah, no delay, no reverb, no eq, no boost no nothing... I experimented a bit..running a maxxon OD-9 into the front of the amp..didn't like what it did to the tone i'm a staunch beleiver of the 'a good high gain amp shoudln't need a distortion pedal'.. if you have a low or medium gain amp, then ok, I can see that..but a true high gainer shoudln't need it.... that's just MY opinion and MY taste though.....everyone's different =) |

ya! just plug into the amp and hang on! this is my first amp that I would plug straight into and have the killer gain with tone. and it freaks out everyone that see's the cable from guitar into the amp without the drve boxes in front. all the guitar players notice! and ask! where ya get that amp at! LOL
