FWIW, just a video cam wandering around, so there's no mixing or anything like that, it picked up whatever it was close to, off angle, etc. I'll try to get a clip of the solo section, this is just some rhythm stuff. 68guns.net/gunstora.wmv

Very cool! Hey what program did you use to cut up the video? Thanks! Sorry to be lame, but I don't do that stuff, our bass player is the graphics/video/web guy. Feel free to shoot him an email at dmg3@cox.net, his name is Scott, he'd be more than happy to help you out. Or just throw a post on our website, www.68guns.net.

We all know e are, yet we can't stop. LOL Anyway, FWIW, everything I've heard from you sounds really good. I've not seen/heard everything (because I can't keep up with you boys on here, haha), but everything I'be clicked on sounded good to me. I wonder if the reason we so often hate what we hear when we listen to a playback is that so often sounds "different" from what we're used to hearing 95% of time as we're jamming. That's always the deal is with me, I tweak according to what I hear in the room, and a recording always sounds just different. So I wonder if we're just expecting that, and failing to realize that if we can see past that one point we might actually notice what's coming out on playback ain't so bad. Just a thought.

Before I had to learn it I'd never heard it. Alot of people seem to though, so what they hey. There was about 3 years period of time there in the 80's when I studied classical guitar exclusively and some jazz, I didn't listen to what was out in the rock scene, didn't play rock, nothing, just classical classical and classical. So there's some stuff that's out there that I totally missed caused I was holed up, it had come and gone. LOL We try not to do TOO many obscure tunes, but we also try to cover as many 80's bands as we can as well. I wanna do that Fastway songs, Say What You Will. Heard that?

I know the recording's gonna sound a little different...makes sense..considering where a mic is and where your ear is and how sound travels and all that...all part of what makes it a pain in the ARSE...LMAO....I guess that's an advantage of having a separate room with studio monitors..you know what it's gonna sound like miced up before you ever hit record...lol

Haha, I just got an entire DVD of a major show we did that was about 3 days after we unexpectedly lost our other guitar player so I had almost no time to work on turning 2 guitar pasrts into one. I'm afraid to watch it. Guranteed, I'll beat myself up without mercy if I watch it. We shouldn't do that to ourselves.

Yeah, the B&W video looks like it was taken along with the Paris Hilton sex tapes........haha. Actually it's B&W because the color got relly bizarre with the light, but it was ok in B&W. Here's my Splawn money shot..........

What's that old song by Vandenberg, it's slow and he does this AMAZING soulful guitar solo in it. I remember seeing a video of it way back when, and it totaly fried my circuits. I recently saw it again on VH1 classics and it still totally fries my circuits.

Fastway "say what you will" is so much fun to play and it sounds as though your singer could most likely nail it!!!
