Ok, I'm done ... jeesh I learned alot today about Cakewalk. Should be easier next time I hope. I had alot of fun switching gears and getting different sounds and styles.. hair-metal.com/tunes/splawn3.mp3Heres the breakdown: Mansel Guitar/ Quick Rod/ Splawn x-pattern 4-12/ SM-57/ us-428/ Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3 Gain on noon for everything, I didn't change anything but pickups.. 0:03 - VH lick- MXR Phase 90 + 1st gear OD1 0:16 - funk - 1st gear OD1 + split Texas Special neck pup 0:24 - harmonized arpeggios - 3rd Gear OD2 both guitars. 0:36 - Y.R.O. 1st gear OD1 + reverb from Cakewalk 0:44 - 1st gear OD2 both guitars till end of song. 1:00 - last solo - 2nd Gear OD2 ..next I'll try to do a better solo toward the end..

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful man,,, LMAO..
Tascam US-428. Its just a mixer that I plug the mic into. Than it has a USB out to the PC.
Those pup's are fabulous. If you think about it, I took Scott's advice all the way down the line,, Mansel with Mahogony, and Rio Grandes, Eminence 4-12, and of course the QR. Its a great combo. I theres one thing you can get from this clip is that this rig is versatile. I was going to tag a clean part onto the end, but I am spent... I keep making up these licks that are too hard,, LMAO... hahahaha.

Very cool man. I am going the same route that you took. Mansel, Quick Rod, Splawn 4x12, Rio Grande's, etc!

considering how great all you guys are, those is big compliments, thanks. Yeah I posted it, I tapped out whatever playing I had going today. I just tried to fix that crappy solo at the end and made it worse, so I'll leave it as is.

agreed! +1, I always thought the QR was versatile
I think you have cakewalk covered! Nice tracking, Now add reverb to the drums will ya! LMAO

Craig, you can tell the Mansel and the Quick Rod were made for each other. I listened to your first clips with the old Quick Rod and the Wolfgang. What a huge difference!
