Damn! Your playing is fantastic I can only wish in this lifetime man. Questions:
I was always curious on that guitar is the neck thin or decent sized? Is that the JB or Demon pup?
Next.... how the f**k do you play like that? The pinkie is flyingman, give me some freaking exercise tabs? Geez.
Amp: Great stuff. Though can you explain this whole first gear, second OD, third gear thing etc....
Have you played a Pro Mod? I ask because I love Zakks tone and knows he uses 6550 tubes. I'm about to sell my Marshall TSL100 for a JCM800 2203 reissue.

Much better than I thought! 1st gear is also wicked! thanks, man...I didn't know how much people were gonan like the clean channel for two reasons 1) because I really didn't play anything recognizable and 2) cause the camcorder doesn't always make the best recordings...got nothing but compliments on it so far though ,so that's a good sign =) I'm tryin' to dispell a couple falsehoods here..that the clean 'sucks' and that the amp sounds 'bad' at low volumes...two things we know aren't true

d**n! Your playing is fantastic I can only wish in this lifetime man. Questions: I was always curious on that guitar is the neck thin or decent sized? Is that the JB or Demon pup? I'm about to sell my Marshall TSL100 for a JCM800 2203 reissue. thanks for the listen, man..appreciate it =) answers to your questions... 1) the neck pickup..that's just a stock ESP pickup that came with it..it looks like a single coil, but it's really like a duncan hot rails in that it's a humbucker that fits in a single coil spot..the bridge pickup is a JB trembucker..I didn't like the demon...too thin sounding...the neck is not too thick (PRS traditional) or too thin (ibanez wizard)..it's inbetween..but has a nice flat radius on the fretboard that I like alot...but it plays very quickly despite it's thicker profile.. 2) if you REALLY wanna learn some exercises and such, you should probably ask dirrtycraig...lol...he plays circles around me and also teaches, so he probably has a few for ya (for a price..LOL..j/k), but there's alotta good finger exercises in the two paul gilbert instructional videos..some of which I've used way back in the day..similar to what my first guitar teacher gave me.. 3) the gear thing is explained in the users manual that has been put together by users, for users! =D you can find that on scott's main site in the menu on the left... 4) I've never played the promod..but all the clips I hear sound great...Donalddemon and a couple others have pro mods so they could answer any questions for ya!

YEAAAAAHHHHHH!. hehe..I knew I'd get some props for playin' that lesser known dokken tune from the 80's guys at large! lmao....LOVE THAT SONG!! and the tone he gets on it...so friggin' raw...once I messed around with first gear and OD2 I waslike I gotta play this song now...hahahha... my right hand is very agressive....actually lookin' at the videos, I'd almost go as far to say that it's sloppy...lol...it's all over the place! sometimes I think I move it around a bit tooo much..but that's me...I play everything like I'm angry with it..lol... I think the vids are gonna garner some interest in the amp..lots of people always askijnj' 'what's the difference between channels, gears, etc, etc'.welp, here it is...and it'll shut up the 'man, the cleans suck' camp..lol

No your right hands not sloppy at all, its real tight, very metal, your downstrokes are great. My hand is so loose, I'm more in the middle between a funk and rock player. Your much better on the tight stuff.

Your much better on the tight stuff. we shall see...I'm gonna do some iced earth for a third gear rythm clip...talk about tight picking....my hand's about ready to fall off after one of those songs.. you're much more diverse in what you play than I am, so I'd think that havin' a looser right hand would be perfect! anywho, looks pretty good when you're alternate pickin' all that fast stuff on the video you posted awhile back! speaking of which..when are we gonna get some vids of you noodling around in your home/studio?? (oh, as an aside...my videos are becomming known as the crotch shot videos on HCAF..LMFAO..how funny is that?!?!?)

I think it would be redundant of me to record video just noodling,, yours are great. I'm going to work with Cakewalk some more today and stick with that for right now. I will put another video up when I get another good live one though..
I wonder if I video'd myself recording a solo over a track in cakewalk exported the audio, would I be able to sync the video with the track? Probably one step at a time, let me learn this first,, LMAO

Cool clips Shredder. The video I'm trying to post has some clean channel live happening. I think the clean channel on these amps sound great. I do to..I mean, are they a fender clean? no..only a fender clean sounds like a fender clean.. but is it a good clean? hell yeah....very reactive to picking dynamics... man, there's just some rumors about this thing goin on that I'm tryin' to dispell.. when I first sent the video to scott he was like 'man, I don't know why people say my amps don't sound good at low volumes'..poor guy sounded like a kid who's dog just ran away! so hopefully all of our clips and vids and whatnot will shut some people up....
