Killer man! Your amp has some serious balls. I love my Splawn Modded Marshall, but yours has more of the EL34 crunch to it!

Trust me, I am getting one as soon as I get some more money. I don't want to get rid of the Marshall till I have the Quick Rod. Either that or I will have both!

That is exactly what it is. I had Scott gut the amp and insert the Promod. Some of the parts are the original, but not many!

Right on, Shred. Great work, as always.
I'm going to be working on a series of 3 clips over the next week or so...
It will be the exact same clip done 3 times with 3 different amps. The riffs are some of my heavier stuff written over the last couple of months and I thought that as long as I'm going to record it, I might as well do it with several amps so some A/B/C'ing can be done by people who are still searching. So right now it looks like it will be:
Splawn QR Modded Recto Diezel Herbert ..and if I have time and still have the amp I may to a version with a Mark IV.
I'm going to try to keep everything the same as far as preamp settings and keep the EQ flat at the board. Same mics, cabs & guitar will be used too. Should be interesting...then again it could be completely geigh...

geigh? lol....
that sounds cool...are you going to do them single tracked? I hope so..cause multiple layers of guitar tracks can be deceiving..same with them dual miced, I think...just one mic, one track, panned straight down the center..bam..done...this way you have an idea of what it's gonna sound like commin' outta the cab, ya know?
