i like the third gear!!
would you be able to record the same riff in 2nd gear wiith the premap all the way and then in third gear with the preamp all the way so i can tell the difference in gain...i just need a 5 second clip for each... ;D

speaking of which, I got outbidded at the last flippin' second on ebay...BASTAR_S!!!!!!! there's a guy in jersey who's selling one though...$90..so I'll probably just meet him half way

You know, your clips really are not crappy. I am going to try to record some clips of my Marshall whenever I can get this M-Audio Preamp. I am going to use it in the Optical Input of my Yamaha AW16. The Yamaha's preamp is crappy, so I am going to bypass it with a really good preamp!

The Yamaha's preamp is crappy, so I am going to bypass it with a really good preamp! thanks, appreciate the compliment =) nothin' better than a good tube mic pre, man!! my buddy's got a presonus in his studio..at least I think he does...gotta see about borrowing it so I can make a halfway decent clip...LOL... the PC mic tends to break up and just make it sound like I have a wall of distortion pedals pushign the pre amp..lol |

I think I was sold before I actually heard it, but that is definitely for me. I may have to just sell my current QR and order a new one if I can't get the mod done. Don't want to, as the one I have is the first one Scott made with the separate EQ's, but a man's gotta do...
