Hey man, sounds real good. Gotta post your amp settings/guitar info though..........I'm always curious how that translates to what I'm hearing.
What speakers did you get in that cab?

What speakers did you get in that cab? hey, duder..thanks! here's my settings (so far..heh..been messin' around with them alot) presence 1 30 Bass 12 Middle 2 treble 12 master 7 30ish (I'll be gettin' a midiverb 4 soon so I can crank the master up and regulate the volume with the 'verb so I can get an even more gig volume type sound without blowin' out my eardrums) gain 1 30 OD1 second gear beleive it or not..lol guitar is my ESP Lynch Skulls N' Snakes with a JB trembucker.. I got the man o war, governor x pattern 4x12 as suggest by Scott

Speakers aren't broken in yet? You sound like you are talking about a set of strings! LOL Crank that bastard up man. Broken in won't matter. I cranked mine to 11 right out of the box and have had no problems!

northern--yep, I'll do another one on third gear probably tomorrow Scottdh--thanks dude =) motrock--that's not what I meant..lol....I didn't record it low cause I'm afraid to turn it up or anything =D well, I am..but I only fear for my hearing, not hte speakers..I know they can handle it =D not enough time on the speakers yet for them to have broken in, that's all Splawnfan--I know.I'm a horrible horrible person =( I'll get ya one soon, buddy

I gotta tell ya though, those speakers don't hurt my ears as much as G12H30s do. The Eminence X pattern was perfect for the Splawn amps. Even cranked up, the Splawn amps still don't hurt my ears as much as a V30 cab, or even my Mojave G12H30 cab.

Even cranked up, the Splawn amps still don't hurt my ears as much as a V30 cab, or even my Mojave G12H30 cab. definetly noticed that even when the highs are dialed in way too promienently, it doesn't have that ice pick quality like you describe...so I totally agree! they seem much warmer speakers than any celestions I've played through
