I called Splawn to ask someone about bias settings on my SLP. Scott got on the phone, and was extremely helpful! He explained biasing to me for 20 minutes, and really taught me the proper way to balance out power tubes to get the amp running perfectly.
Love calling a company and talking to the owner!
Now, to the basement to do some biasing!!

Man! You can't get that from Marshall! Actually, I have called Marshall in England, and although I never talked to Jim Marshall, every tech I talked to was very helpful, and always offered to give my amp a free going over if I brought it in. Flying to England with my Marshall wouldn't make much sense, but the offer was nice! |
