Correct me if I'm wrong Roman Catholics believe in the birth, death, and resurection of Christ. Hence making them Christians. Sorry I didnt mean to get on a theological tangent but this is a age old argument that I think is pretty comical and somewhat hypocritical.
I'm a man of Science, but I think it's cool that there is really a human touch during the assembly of these fine amp's. I need to check my chassis for some divine enlightenment ...

Hey T.J.,
Great "Major League" quote!
By the way, historically speaking, the Catholic church was the first Christian church. Before Martin Luther came along, there was only one Christian church, that of "catholicism," which translates (Latin) to "universal," meaning one unified church. Mind you, I'm not trying to convert anyone here or push any beliefs on people. . .just sayin'.

Roman catholicism may consider itself to be "christian" but protestants don't consider it to be "biblical" The age old argument continues.
I don't know what denomination Scott is, but im southern baptist by definition. Born again christian by experience.
I think it's awesome how early scientists defined science. They knew God created everything, they were trying to figure out exactly how...

Dude popped mine open and what was in there?
"'Observe my regulations. "'Don't let your livestock mate with those of another kind, don't sow your field with two different kinds of grain, and don't wear a garment of cloth made with two different kinds of thread. (Leviticus 19:19)
I gotta stop cross breeding the cows and pigs and ditch my polyester blend slacks. Who knew?

That's not because there's anything wrong with the last two, the commands were set by God to keep his people separate from everyone else. People get too caught up in what was commanded and don't bother to find out WHY it was commanded. God wanted to have a people who were set apart for Him. Marriage is similar. Im sure you don't want your spouse to go a sleepin' around with someone else so you make vows. Sometimes they are kept, sometimes not.

^ I was just making light of what some people might take offence to man. I'm sure not everybody appreciates scripture quotes in their amp. Bottom line it's Scott's company and he can do what he wants. I'm sure a lot of people here would be pissed if there were Islamic passages from the Koran there instead. I just find the Old Testament Leviticus stuff fun to read because it's so brutal will all the killing and stoning people to death. Ok maybe that's not too funny... I just get Monty Python Life of Brian images in my head, thats funny.

^ i understand. Genesis can be quite brutal. Yet, one of the biggest man made slaughters was NOT sanctioned by God. For instance A woman was defiled and her brothers tricked her defilers into becoming "part of the family" by circumsizing them. While ALL of the men in the camp were in pain still on the third day, the brothers (with some help of course) killed them all. Did God say do it, NO.
The bible can be difficult to understand but as long as you let it explain itself by itself it becomes easier.
This isn't HC here, we CAN have decent conversations here.
+1 on Monty Python. The Grail was good stuff.

Mine has John 3:16 and Romans 10:13. I think it is great that he is sharing these verses. At some point a life may be changed by someone purchasing the amp and then researching the verses that he or she finds in it. Scott is not sharing his "religion" he is expressing love towards others just as the Bible tells us to. The world needs more people like Scott.
