I hear ya. Wonder what it would look like with one of those Zack Wylde black circles on top of that brown? Kinda of a large circle? Nah...

Amp just went . . . Turned completely to mushy sound.. Crap . I think I'm going to be sick. It say's 8ohms on the back of the cab and thats what I had the amp set at isn't that right?

Depends on how your running the head . if its at full power then set the head to match the cab ie. 8 oms on cab = set head to 8 ohms . If your running at 1/2 power then head needs to be set to 1/2 of what cab is rated . ie. cab = 8 oms set head to 4 ohms.
What exactly did the head do ? I've had one head that burnt up due to a mismatch thanks to a scholts power soak and it poored smoke out the top whan the transformer burnt up .
You said head turned completely to mushy sound . That could be tubes . Is it intermittent ? does the sound go in and out ? define mushy .

I been running at full power at very low volumes though with the right ohms at 8. But there's a little more to the story. I shipped my peavey off yesterday when the LP arrived. BUT STILL its sounding real mushy with the cords. I screwed up on that I'm getting another one fast! I'm using a weber mass 150 and its been real tight. But its like the same day I got the new cab I got the LP and now everything sounding mushy like maybe a marshall with too much gain kinda sound shushy. The amp never gets worked hard. It always sounds tight at low volumes and don't need to use the mass too much. But now it's not sounding good at all. I think its the tubes maybe. I can't get nowhere near a chord that sounds halfway decent.

Its not really intermittent. But the lowest possibe volume without the powersoak is real loud.

I can't get nowhere near a chord that sounds halfway decent. not sure what peavy your talking about . Not sure what you are getting another one of either . I don't think the cabinet is the problem the eminence speakers I got sound really tight. Is a weber mass 150 a power soak ? If so I would take the powersoak out of the equation and use a guitar that you are familiar with the sound ,at least until you figure out what is causeing the problem . How does the amp sound on the clean side ? Try switching to 1/2 power and see if that changes anything . Be sure to change the impedience to 1/2 what the cab is rated . Yea these amps are loud . If you have a volume pedal or an effect with an output on it you can run it in the loop and control the volume that way . I run my head on 1/2 pwr volume @ 10 o'clock and control the output volume with my effect unit . I don't trust powersoaks. if it is a tube problem , the volume should be affected in that it should fluctiuate . Maybe be kinda loud one minute and then fade away .

Thanks man. The peavey is the one in the picture (a geetar) . And what I'm replacing. The weber mass 150 is a powersoak. I was panicking dude and doing some rambling. ALL IS WELL though. The guitar was out of tune ha ha ha. (whew) Thanks for the input man I'll use it !! Whats a good volume pedal?

I have a morely alligator that seems pretty good I don't use it much though . I use my effect to control the volume . You might ask Jammermatt I think he uses a volume pedal in the loop . Oh just a thought , you might want to leave the chronic alone till after you get use to the new gear . ;D lol
