I call it the Temple of Tone. Not the highest end rig out there, but it gets the job done and has tone for days!!

Not the highest end rig out there? I'd say thats about as high-end as anyone could ever need or want. Once you get into Splawn territory its all subjective. Theres nothing more high-end though.

Thanx for the comments all! Yes, Craig, it is all subjective at a certain point, and I honestly have yet to find an amp that competes with the Splawn for what I do. In all cases, the QR smokes everything, needs NO pedals to make it sound good, and has killer tone regardless of voume. And I have an insane selection of amps at my rehearsal spot in NYC: and my personal favourite ...

I've been to that rehearsal studio in NYC. It's on 30th.St. This is a room that you can rent by the hour and try out all of those amps or rehearse with your band in that room.

Oh, and the name of that studio is called Ultrasound Studios. Yup, in the Building of Recording Arts on W30 St, right next to the homeless women's shelter. ;D Ultra has floors 4-6, but that studio, the Ultrastudio, is on the 6th floor. My band has been rehearsing there every Wednesday for time out of mind!!
