Hey all, a noobie here! I'm dead set on getting a QuickRod. I love the clips! I've heard 'em live once (Stephen Pearcy's guitarist). Sounds like what I'm looking for! Anyone got any pictures of inside the chassis? Interested in seeing the guts! ;D
Thanks!

That makes sense! I will probably buy one, just so I can see inside it! I'm sure my wife will understand the reasoning! LOL.........Seriously though, I'm real close to jumping on one! I was just wondering if they were "point to point" or PCB or whatever......

Cool bro, yeah though, no gut pics. Scott shoots us a great product! So let's keep his recipe a secret! Come on we don't want the dog off the Bucsh's baked beans commercial... But hollywood hit it on the money, we don't want cheap copies! Trust me when I say they are extremely well made, and he makes each one by hand individually! You won't be making a mistake in buying one! There are many dealers around, myself, the ohio splawn dealer, and chubtone, also a ft lauderdale dealer (rocksolid, Derek Bernier!), and Scott also who would be glad to assist you if you wanted one! We're here to help! Josh

Thanks for the info, I have no doubt they're a great product! 95% of the reviews are great (can't please everybody) The sound clips are awesome! Count me in! When? I'm working on that one! The wife even say go for it! We're both 80's headbangers, she knows good guitar tone when she hears it!!

Hey Metlking, the Pro-stock and the quickrod sound exactly the same, difference is in the gear control, via the footswitch. I bought a Pro-stock from Josh at rebel amps. The dealers won't charge you any more than buying direct. But they can get you one without the wait. Except for the competition, it can only be bought direct. It is the 50-watt version of the Pro-stock. It too sounds like the quickrod. I hope this helps. I can tell you this, Buying a Splawn amp will make you very happy. It has a tone that just totes the bucket brother.

I was just wondering if they were "point to point" or PCB or whatever...... they are a very well layed out PCB, which designed right, is as good as real Point to Point. just a note. not many maps are really PTP. they have a tag board.. the Splawn amp is layed out very well, strong PCB, chassis mounted sockets.. all flying leads are hand soldered. i have been in mine a few times. its a work of art in there. hope that helps.

White is awesomely beautiful. But it sends you over the edge if you care about keeping it clean. Better own stock in GOO-GONE CORP......LOL. ;D
