Anybody have any idea how these speakers may sound together with a QR? Both the Greenies and the Governors are known to sound really good with a QR. But the Greenies are dangerously low-wattage and could benefit from sharing a 4x12 cab with higher-wattage Governors in an X-pattern.
Anybody use both these speakers and have an opinion of how this combination may sound ?

Sorry buddy. I did not see this thread for some reason until now. I have several cabs loaded with re-issue greenbacks and greenbacks. They are by and far MY FAVORITE. I don't and have not had a problem with blowing them at all. It does seem scary when you look at the labels and see the low proclaimed handling on these speakers. But as of yet I have never had the first one blow. ;D As far as the governors, I have never tried the emminence speakers at all, other than the crappy ones that come in the fenders and I usually pull them out immediately. But then again those speakers are a completely different animal than the ones Scott and company sell. I hear all good things about those. They are supposed to be emminence's take on a v-30 celestion. I also have cabs loaded with the v-30's. I like them alot also. i like the re-issue greenbacks the best for the Quickrod, personally. Hope this helps .
