Getting ready to order a straight cab and need a little help making a speaker decision. Need to try to reproduce Lynch, VH tones. Also, has anyone loaded up any EV'S in spalwn cab? I have 4 Black Label 12L's and was currious if any one has had any luck with them?
Let me know your thoughts?

OK - Thanks for the link. What would be the defacto standard speaker config for a splawn cab.... Just trying to get an idea of what people are playn with and what kind of tone their after and getting with their configuration. Thanks!

The standard speaker config used to be the eminence governor and man o war in an x pattern, but now with the new big blocks and small blocks speakers made especially for splawn those are good choices as well.

When you say small block, are you referring to the small block 65's or small block 25's - sorry for the stupid question but im just not very familiar with these speakers....
Thanks.....

FWIW, a person by the screen name of Windsen mentioned a few days ago that he's expecting a BB/SB cab to show up this week and then he'd compare it to his gov/man-o cab and give us his opinions.

If it helps any, regarding the video shot at the conference of Scott demoing his amps: I was told the Nitro was being played through a BB/SB 65 cab (and also an all-BB cab, although I'm not certain which, or if possibly both, were being played at the time of the video). The Quickrod was played through the prototypes for the SB-25's, and the SuperStock was played through Celestion G12M 20 watters.
