new 4 x 12

I got a 4 x 12 off rockin rollin robin . It arrived yesterday . it has 2 - v30's and 2 - hellatones in it. I was planning on putting eminence mow and gov in the x pattern in it and selling the v-30's and hellatones.
After yesterday thats a wash . This cab sounds great . ;D I've been reading about how everyone here hates v-30 's with the splawn . So I expected it to sound crappy . But as I said it sounds great .
maybe its the combo with the hellatones that kills the undesired frequencys in the v-30s .
Anyway . I' selling 4 -12" eminence speakers . 2-mow and 2 gov .

Also if I run 2 - 16 ohm cabs do I put the impedience of the head on 8 ohms ?

Slight change in plans . I took the mow's and put them in the cab with the hellatones . I'm really liking it ;D.So I think i'm gonna keep all the speakers for now anyway . I'm gonna try the govs and the hellatones at some point . Its just such a pain swapping speakers.

Oh by the way . I had my Marshall 4 x 12 apart today putting the original speakers back in . I also had the splawn 4 x12 open changing those speakers . There is no comparison in the build quality between the 2 cabs . Splawn is far superior. Scott makes the back so tight I could barely get it open . Marshall uses some partical board for the center brace and the workmanship in the splawn was just superior . I guess that is to be expected with a mass produced cab compared to hand built one. ;D

Cool man what tonal difference did you get when you changed the speakers?

Its got more bottom and the mids are smoother
