LOL. The way he described it to me sounded exactly what I am looking for. The Hellatone H60 and H30 (V30 and G12H30) are just a tad shrilly at volume for me..

Scoob, there was no price difference between the usual Emis and these new ones. I don't know for positive, but the scummies are expensive, yes? Scott did tell me that this speaker might "loosen" the amp up a tad because it loads the amp differently than the other emis and especially the Celestions. I told him that my only complaint about the amp is that I'm a hack and that the amp is tight TO ME, and any help in the loosening department would be bonus for me LOL. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to this and hoping that it lives up to the hype.

You know, I wish that guy would post here more often. Inquiring minds want to know. But, I suppose after fielding noob questions all day, building amps all day, the last thing he wants to do is talk bout them.

... tick tock tick tock <checks watch> tick tock tick tock <looks at calendar> I can't believe it's only been two days. When I ordered my Comp is was a 12 week wait - didn't seem to be a big deal at all and I just waited it out. Two weeks should be a breeze, but it's not

chrismac, can you give anymore details soundwise? Were they split with another speaker in an X pattern, or was it just the Big blocks and the sound was that good? and have you heard the QR through Scumback speakers? I'd really appreciate it, as others would I'm sure.

Ok, I talked to Scott and got the skinny on these. He took the G12H heritage speakers he really likes and asked Eminence to make a speaker that sounded like it. He got some prototypes and asked them to "warm them up" a little bit more. I guess they A/B'ed these with a bunch of different spkr/cab combos (not just eminence) and these things came away tops. Jammer - you got these in a 2x12 - did Scott tell you what the watt rating is on these? 65-75 watts? I forgot to ask him, I was so pumped hearing about them. I'm ordering 2 tonight. same price as the others like Jammer said. Scott's the man to talk to as well, first time I spoke to him - he was talking to me like his best friend.
