What is the impedence of the individual speakers in a 4 x 12 if you get the eminence mow and the govs ? I have a chance to pick up some and the guy says he took them out of a splawn cab . He says they are 8 and 16 ohm . that doesn't make sense to me . I never heard of putting 8 and 16 om speaker in the same cab. I know it can work but your gonna get a screwy total impedence for the cab. thanks  |

Correct me if I wrong, but I think Splawn makes a selector switch on the back of the cab with the choice of 16 or 8. The speakers are all the same. Have the person selling Eminence speakers look on the back of each speaker and I'll bet they're all 16s.

Yea i'm sure the speakers are all the same and probably 16 ohm.
By the way I won them on ebay for $200.00 ;D
They are suppose to have like 5 hrs time on them .
I think I am going to try the m.o.w. with the celestion g12 30h first and see how that sounds
