Anyone try these with a Splawn? They are really pricey, but I heard the Blue's in a Vox AC30 and they sound amazing. Alnico magnets. The golds would be the one to use with a 100 watt amp...Just wondering if anyone had tried these yet?

I have a few blues but never hooked em up to the splawn. I didnt want to smoke one of them! haha They are very nice sounding speakers.. and I hear the golds have that same smooth sound. but almost 300.00 a speaker. I havent.

yeah, the blues will die a quick death i would think! Oh they are way pricey...but I was thinking maybe one gold and one other speaker.
