(2) Vintage 30's and (2) G12H30's in a 4X12? Sounds like this might be an interesting combo. My cab is currently loaded w/ (4) Vintage 30's and I am getting way too much mid-range. I think the H30's could balance it out.

I just did this exact combination in a 2-12 cab. 1- vintage-30, 1- G-1230h. I like it alot. Sounds really good. definately helps the problem you are having. I also think you don't get the full benefit of your sound, unless you stay off from the front of the cab a bit. When you are right up on it in front, you dont hear all of your frequencies. Even more so than normal. I think it's a great combo of speakers. It literally saves a marshall, sound wise and brings it to life. Hey the 4-12 cab set up this way will rock even harder. ;D

Cool man, that's what I was thinking in my head too. As it stands right now I have to use an EQ in the loop to dial out some of the mids or else it gets real harsh. I just need a Splawn cab in this config. ;D
