I'm thinking about getting a 4x12 cab and the Bogner 4x12's from what I hear is exactly the sound I'm going for...unfortunately they cost $1100 or so. I'd like to save some money and go with Splawn, but ultimately I just want to get the best cab I can, regardless of price. I'm trying to match a cab with a Soldano SLO that I recently purchased. Has anyone compared a Splawn cab 4x12 to a Bogner 4x12? Thanks

I personally don't like oversized cabs like the bogner ubercab, mesa oversize, etc... The splawn cabs are almost perfect as perfect can be. I know you probably expect to hear that here on the splawn forum, but seriously, I can get a wide variety of cabs, and the splawn truly runs above the best! My personal choice now over the framus dragon cab!
Thanks, Josh Sage

I have the Bogner 4x12 straight cab with V30's and it sounds great. I got it used on ebay for $700 in mint condition with a padded cover.
I have also heard the Splawn and say that the Bogner is no better or worse. They are both top quality and made of quality material. If you are set on the Bogner then find one used but if you don't I would say the Splawn is just as good a choice.
