Looking for another cab to compliment my Quickrod.
I would really like to get a Splawn OS cab, but Avatar cabs look just as good and are a bit cheaper. I have a Splawn Standard 2x12 with all governors in it. It is a bit mid heavy for me. I have to run my highs pretty high to get clarity out of them.
My 5150 cab works pretty good for it though. Heck i even thought about swapping two 5150 speakers for the Governors to give my 5150 cab some more mids.
Maybe swapping one out for a Man of war could help.
Im up for suggestions.

I would suggest swapping speakers in the cabs you already have.. Definitely the cheapest route.. I only play a Les Paul in the band I'm in.. I have a Governor and a Mano-o-War in my Avatar cab... For my Pro-Mod settings, I run my bass around 11 o'clock, Mid at 7 o'clock (off), Treble & Presence both around 3 o'clock. I still would like to cut a little more mids.. But the guys say the tone is awesome.. I've since removed the logo from the cab, and replaced the pups with Rio Grande zebra's. Let us know what you try.

i tried the speaker swap. The Governors sound so much better than the 5150 speakers in the 2x12 so i put them back in.
