I am thinking of getting a new cabinet and am used to the V30 celestions. I don't even know If they are my favorite speaker being I really haven't experimented with other speakers. Not necessarily do I want an eminence version of a vintage 30 but just wondering how the Eminence speakers compare with the celestions and which one would be the closest sounding to a V30? The eminence line seems very confusing and the sound clips are impossibe to go by. Any input would be appreciated...

The Redcoats are great. The Eminence speakers are not exactly going to sound like a V30. They don't have the harsh high end!

Mot,
They appear to have a few new ones in the redcoat series. I would like something with a nice warm midrange, heavy on the bass is not necessary but tight bass is nice and a nice crisp high end. Most important a nice breakup that doesn't turn to mush. I hate the metal sound with the scooped mids. I don't know if I want something to far off from the V30's unless its way better to my ear of coarse. What do you recommend?
