what do you want to know about the framus? i could go on for days on that ;D
the halfstack is one hell of a beast, i've got two eminence governers and two of the splawn/eminence EM75's in the cab...the low end is ungodly, it's really got a low end punch like nothing else i've heard; as tight and brutal as could be...the cleans are nice and chimey, with all the headroom you could ever need...the lead channel has a nice thick arch enemy kinda vibe to it...overall the amp is very BIG sounding, no matter where the gain is it's as clear as a bell and cuts thru the mix beautifully (check out the clips in my sig if you'd like)
one thing that i really love about the splawn cab is the projection, it's not a 'directional' cab like many straight fronts at all...standing clear on the opposite side of the stage from this cab, i can still hear it quite well; for the first time i can hear myself loud and clear onstage without having to nuke the people outfront with dB's
seriously scott's cabs are criminally underrated

I have to say,, sorry but I got a chance last summer to hear both the Framus Cobra and a Quick Rod back to back, and there was no comparison...
Bill from Firehouse had a wall of Cobra stacks and Stephen Pearcy's band went on after them,, Erik's Quick Rod killed man,, his tone was insanely good playing all those Ratt tunes. Eriks also alot better player, but the sound was undeniable regardless.

No its a Quick Rod with a pro-mod face-plate. I never liked FireHouse. Bills a great guy, we opened for them last March, but definitely not my thing. Too sappy.
