I'm an 80's guy, but I do like alot of newer stuff. Currently in a band that's mixes a little of the old with the new. A'la Gnr, early Aerosmith and throw some STP in the mix.
What style do you play?

While I love my modern metal I play all kinds of rock/metal. I have clips from Ratt and AC/DC to Sevendust, Testament and KSE. That's the beauty of the QR/Pro Stock/Comp, with the 3 gears you can go from plexi goodness to raging super-hot rodded 800 tones. With the styles you listed I think you'd be happy w/ a Splawn. I own a Pro Stock BTW. Good luck with your choice.

I know, the choices are killin' me, man. I know I sound noobish, but only a noob to the Splawn. Wont be for long. I think I'm going with the Pro Stock, just to have the 50 and 100 watt option.
