Has anybody used the pro stock with this cab? I am getting ready to by a cabinet and I really like this one, but I have seen posts as I research that the Splawn's are very different depending on the cabinet used.

yea my splawn is a totally different animal depending on the cab n speaker, i've got a ported 2x12 similar in design to the genz benz with v30s and it's really powerful and agressive but very "metal head" sounding doesnt really do a refined rock sound.
also got an openback 2x12 with Fane's in which is much more sweet sounding, but yea all depends.. im thinking of G12H30s or Greenbacks or G12H30/G12T75mix for that cab.. just unsure which I want atm.

I play my Pro Stock through a Genz-Benz G-Flex 2x12". It sounds great and has TONS of bass response - definitely no need for a 4x12" IMO. The G-Flex is also very easy to carry and haul, compared to a 4x12". I haven't tried the Splawn through anything else yet, so I can't offer comparisons, but I'm very happy with my G-Flex.
