Hello, Splawn fanatics.....
To answer some of your questions....I am a 16 year AD USAF MSgt, been in Okinawa since Feb 2005 and will be here until Feb 2009....or longer? Love it, the live music scene here is awsome. Alot of great musicians...all styles of music.
The Pro Stock is set up with the Mullard EL34's "Only way to go in my opinion" bias is the same as when it left Mr. Splawn
Gibson BFG, the verdict is still out on the guitar. I need to push it through a few more gigs and see how it holds up. I love the finish and feel "plays great" but the stock pickups well their stock and will be replaced. Dont get me wrong they aren't bad. Besides that I like it and dont have to worry about screwing it up, its already rough. I have a new Charvel Natual coming in a few weeks, will try and put that one through a few gigs..... Yeah I really like those things. It's nice to have something you don't have to worry about looking like hell after a bunch of gigs. I just think its slight retarded that they didn't put a knob on the toggle. That doesn't look cool it looks like they are just being cheap!

I appreiciate it; it does get its fair share of looks.....mostly like what and they have to touch it. I agree, does not make any sense to have left off the toggle switch knob....and the Kill switch really needs a better washer or something around it.....It serves its purpose well, let the drunks (including myself) try and tear this one up....
