Hi,
does anyone switch his ProMod / Quickrod with an external Midi Switcher ?
Does it work fine ?
My intention is to switch OD1/2, all the 3 Gears, Solo-Boost and Channel 1/2.
According to the manual it should work.
1. Footswitch A -TRS 1/4" Jack Tip switches Solo Volume-- Ring switches OD1/OD2
2. Footswitch B
-TRS 1/4" Jack Tip switches Clean/Overdrive-- Ring switches Mode Switch

you won't be able to switch gears..but you can switch channels and such with an outboard switcher

I use a quickrod with a voodoo labs GCX switcher and ground control foot controller. You can do everything but switch the gears.

"RJM Music Technology...Amp Gizmo or Loop Gizmo...Done! " What can the Gizmo do better than the Voodoo Labs GCX above ? As I know is the Gizmo an usual switcher I'm confused, 2 Posts not possible, one post possible. Do you have different Amps ?  Markus |

Yes you can semi switch the mode switch with an external switcher. This means if the mode switch on the front panel is set to 1st gear you can switch from 1st to 2nd. If the switch is set to 3rd gear you can switch from 2nd to 3rd. You cannot switch from 1st to 3rd.
