Tung-Sol 6550s

I rounded out the tubes in my QR - now PM - maybe I'll call it a Pro Rod ;D - to all Tung-Sols, 12AX7s and 6550 powertubes. It now sounds like I want. It rules. It's punchier and more articulate than it was with the EL34s. It's only a tiny bit stiffer, but after swapping my Duncan Distortions out for a pair of Gibson/Iommi pups, it's got just enough flub and plenty of punch. It sounds awesome with the stock 5150 speakers and the Hellatone 30s. I need to get some Greenbacks or the new Smallblocks.

you and i are rockin the same tube set my brother!! and yes it KILLS!!!! i like the tung-sol 12ax7 quite a bit more than the jj's a much more even sound with all the gain.
