i got the e-mail that my pro-mod would be delivered on Tuesday!!i can't wait ,the excitement is killing me! i don't know how many people on here play my style of music but i will post a review once i put it through a day or two workout. i mainly play hardcore-heavy metal stuff and i liked the way my 5150II used to sound, my triple recto was a little muddy for my taste but still cool,i am wondering how my pro-mod will sound playing this style of music?? i am going to do some pickup swapping to try to match up my axe-pickup-amp-cab for the sound i am looking for. i have a 68' Les Paul custom flame top (custom shop reissue) the pups I'll be trying are my emg 81(already in it),a Duncan sh-5, a Duncan sh-6(Duncan distortion) and a Duncan parallel axis(patb-1). the last one is because of THE DUKE!! he recommended that pickup when i asked him about what one to choose for my setup to get the tone i wanted,(i hope the poles line up correctly) well i hope to have good news soon, until then, later friends in tone!! Right on, congrats. I would be interested in hearing how your style of music fits with the amp. I don't play hardcore-heavy styles that often but I think this amp can do it with ease. Looking foward to the review!

Congrats!!!!
The Splawn should be able to do hardcore. If you're pickup swapping check out Bare Knuckles pickups over in England. Yes they cost a bot more but they are worth every penny.
