Yeah that's why i'm not sure about the 25's, they don't have the headroom of higher wattage speakers. I'm not a modern metal player, I mainly play heavy rock\80's metal, would the Heats work for that or are they mainly for modern metal? Damn you now I have another speaker i'm thinking about

The only thing with my comparisons is I don't play in standard tuning and haven't since the early 90's. I'm doing the test runs in Drop C and drop Bb. I'm putting the speakers through a bit more than standard tuning would.

Another thing about the Heats is they are hard to pass up at $240 for four of them.

Im gettin my nitro and cab next week, its gonna have small block 25s and big blocks in a x, i think the mix of those will sound pretty good, thats what Scott recommended to me.
