ok how does the nitro differ from herbert, same / different/ better/ worse ? For me, I've yet to play an amp that I like better than the Herbert. The next closest was the ENGL SE for the brutal metal tones only though. The nitro is great, though. It is less compressed/more open sounding, a little less saturated and has its own unique voicing.

I would have liked to have paid more for my Nitro to get a footswitchable loop - if it were possible.

since when do you have a gold top w/ p90s??? I've had it for almost a year now. I got it at Rondo Music in Edison when they were closing the shop to go to internet sales only. I got an awesome deal on it! It's an Agile AL-3000. The guitar is absolutely beautiful and sounds really good, with that classic P90 spank. The only problem is that the nut is the vintage 1-5/8" and is way to small for my ape hands. It sucks because I love the guitar but I am thinking I should sell it because it doesn't get much play.

I'm debating selling it for a Splawn cab. I like the Nitro through the Eminence speakers a little more than the celestions. The celestins are very directional while the Emi's disperse the sound a little better. The are very similar cabs in terms of size/demensions - I should just look at changing speakers, but I'm a geek in that I like to have the head/cab match.

Yeah, i'm sure the Bogner and Splawn cabs are constructed very similarlly so a peaker swap would be enough. I hear you about having matching head and cab though. I thought about getting a Splawn cab too but I already have the Bogner and Rivera cabs.
