I ordered one a few weeks ago with JJ kt-88`s and a cab.I was told to expect 10 weeks. My invoice says projected delivery date of 1/24/08/Sux! Anyways, the dealer said that it could possibly arrive sooner, but not to count on that.

My build date was the last week in October, then for sure last week it was going to come to me, and here I sit still, Nitro-less. Busy guys.

Guy's, I stopped by Scott's shop yesterday for a few minutes..... Scott and all the guys are very very busy.... Business is good and we know Scott and they guys will not rush the amp out if its not perfect.... Just try be patient and remember you are getting a "top of the line" hand built amp.

who did you guys order from ? I ordered mine from josh sage on 10/7 . He didn't give me a time frame . At the time people ordering from splawn directly were being told 12 weeks . So I'm hoping mine will arrive around the end of Dec .

I ordered mine from Blues City Music.James Burke is a helluva nice guy and as a matter of fact,as I was typing this he called me about my order. My amp is a little out of the norm and it might take a little longer.

I'm getting 77's. I don't recall exactly, but I think I'm about 3 weeks past my original build date right now. Just have to be patient. The guys are really swamped right now at the shop, and they've been getting lots of phone calls from people with questions about everything. The more time they spend answering the phone and questions, the less time they spend building amps. Just be patient, it'll be worth the wait.

I ordered mine in Sept. through Josh at Rebel Amps. I was told I'd get it around Jan. Josh at Splawn said that they've got my order, but there's 8 people in front of me. I'm not worried about it. Just as long as it's made well, I'll wait. I've still got my C+'s to rip on!

silverwulf, i see you no longer have your Splawn 412 w/ the BB/SB x-pattern. didn't you have a QR at one point as well?
anyways, hang in there guys. scott and the guys are swamped as you know but as others have said, they're making sure not to rush building any of your amps. it'll be worth the wait =)

silverwulf, i see you no longer have your Splawn 412 w/ the BB/SB x-pattern. didn't you have a QR at one point as well? It's still in the family... ;D My buddy/bandmate has the cab now. He's playing through a JCM 800 2210 at the moment, and we liked how it (800) sounded better through that cab vs what he had. So, I sold it to him since my Mesa 4x12 sounds great with my amps too. I did have a QR too. Loved it, but ended up needing to move it at the time to fund the Nitro. Didn't think I'd have to, but it's the way the cards fell for me at the time. I'll have another soon enough.

It's all good man. I was just curious because I have two Splawn 412s, one with the old Emi X-pattern and one with the new BB/SB pattern. I know you spent a lot of time with the BB/SB cab and said it sounded great with the QR. I'm still on the fence on how I feel about the BB/SB with my Nitro but am hoping it matches up better with the QR.

Never got to try it with a Nitro (will when it gets here), but we loved it with the QR. It makes Gear 1 sound massive, which is where I ended up spending most of my time.

I was told today my Nitro is done. Sitting at shop ready for shipping. ;D I won't get to see it until Christmas, as it will be a gift from the wife, but heck what a gift. Worth the wait, well worth it. I ordered mine with the kt-77's, full plexi style box all blacked out. She will be wicked looking I'm sure. Like some sort of Evil looking Marshall chomping monster........... Should sound that way too.....................................................................
