;D Hey SCOOBROCK, The speakers in the cabs that ran for each amp were as follows, The Nitro ran into two 4-12 cabs, one had 4 bigblocks in it. The other had the x-pattern of two bigblocks and two smallblocks-65's in it. The Quickrod had one 4-12 cab running 4 smallblock-25's in it. This 411 was given to me Last tuesday by Josh at Splawn. He told me to put this out there so you guys would know. I hope this helps. Hey I wanted to know this very thing like one minute after I had already placed my Nitro order.

what is the guitar scott is using? I have a McNaught with the same set of Rio's but I have a feedback that can't be controlled when at med-high volumes in the bridge.. all wiring and grounds are good...is it a bad pickup? Anyway, the tones Scott got out of that guitar and the Nitro are awesome.. But then, he is Scott SPLAWN!!!! Porkchops

That's right, you did post that somewhere, but I don't remember where! Man, I really like those 25's...are they 50-60 watts like the other "block" speakers? or an actual 25 watts each? My cab should be here soon, and I have a couple big blocks to put in it and a couple scumbacks...but I don't know man, maybe the 25's are for me. I hate swapping gear around though, so I'll probably stick with what I have.

Not sure on the wattage on those speakers? But I know if it was me , I would definately run the 4 speakers you are talking about, at least at first. Hey you're coming outta the gate smoking.

ahhh BBQ - I like mine too. Is his shop as small as it looks? amazing what they turn out in that little place. The main shop is pretty small.....unlike the tone of his amps!!!!!!! He has the right attitude, keep overhead low, produce killer amps. There is a separate wood shop area and tolex area.

Thats one killer video . Is this gonna be out up on Scotts site ? it should be . Speaking of Scott I sent him an email asking him about his pickups . He replied this morning , the guy is just a class act all the way from what I can tell . Never met him so I'm speaking of just a few experiences . The other being when he called me AFTER I returned a QR to tell me it had a cracked tube . He had nothing to gain from it but he took the time and did it anyway. BTW he confirmed what tusker said about it being rio pickups .
After hearing the QR clip I thought man mine don't sound like that . Then I went in UNPLUGGED THE EFFECT and cranked it up . yes it does sound like that .....yes indeed ;D
Now can someone please punch a hole in me and relieve some of this GAS . I'm gonna need a tether line if I listen to that nitro clip again . lol
