Bro, I am really bummed to have missed it, but my son showed up 5 weeks early as I expected he would. He was born at 2:51 AM on 09/29/2007. After watching the videos of all the fun you guys had, I am wondering why he sort of looks like TJ. ;D Really though, it looks like you guys had a great time and I hope I can go next year. You guys are all great players too. hey, congrats, man!! welcome to the daddy club!!! what's the name?

Thanks fellas. Little Eddie is so cool. We watched our first Patriots game together on Monday night. Well, he slept mostly, but it was still cool. I shall call him way cool jr. ;D

ok I am a hardcore/thrash/deathmetal player.I currently run an engl powerball.I am thinking about ditching my PB for a Nitro.will this amp work for what I am currently doing?take a listen to what my band is like and tell me if this amp will do it?www.myspace.com/goreality1 why I am thinking about getting rid of the PB is the crunch channel on this amp is useless and like all Engl's it is very noisy.I got it under control with my decimator but I would still like something less noisy.

The Nitro will definitely be able to handle that style stuff. It was also amazingly quiet for that high gain. I used my Strat with single coils and there was hardly any hum or hiss at loud volumes standing 5 ft in front of the amp. Splawns are some of the quietest high gainers I have ever come across.

Congrats on the new kid. I have two girls and thank God every morning for them.
Thanks to everyone also on their input on my decision. After some really good discussions with VOM I decided to stick with my Quick Rod on order.
