Ok I know there is already a Nitro thread, but I wanted to start fresh so vids would be at the top...sorry to hijack shred's thread, but anyways here is what I got so far!

In all vids, the guys on the left play the nitro and the guy on the right which is always TJ is playing the quickrod, btw TJ is friggin incredible.

These are superb. If I'm comparing on the strength of these videos alone, I'm still on the Quick Rod side. Just can't beat those fruity mids. (It may help that TJ seems to be blazing hot on the guitar.)

Yeah, honestly, just from these vids, which probably isn't fair...the QR is out front more than the Nitro. But the Nitro is liquidy! And it sounds good when Scott kicks in tp that jam. I see where the lower mids make it a little smoother maybe.

Thanks for posting the vids josh. Am I the only one who finds them trebely? Maybe due to the recording quality?

the quickrod was trebly in person too, but hell, TJ is a chickenpicker...and a damn good one at that...that would be part of the treble...and my sony cybershot camera may have a bit to do with it too! Also, the small blocks are bright, but this isn't really a bad thing, because in a live mix, the brightness will help cut through!

The QR sounds kinda trebly to me but it may be the vid or the guitar I know mine doesn't sound that way . You guys are cooking ,I knew I sucked before but now there can be no doubt .
I'm liking the sound of the nitro . Thats the kinda midrange tone I really like .
