Posted on MWGL's Loudhouse forum about this as well.
So, had a gig on Saturday, was loading in, had my StreetRod combo and matching cab with casters on the sidewalk in front of the gig, went to my car (10 feet away) to get something and watched in slow motion horror as the whole stack did a faceplant for some reason on the sidewalk!
I forgot my backup but I lived about 10 minutes away so if necessary I could bolt home to get it.
Set everything up... powered it up, no smoke, good! Tubes glowing, good. Connected a guitar and it was working fine.
In fact it sounded great the whole gig!!
These things are built like tanks (birch plywood vice MDF which makes a big difference) but tube amps are more fragile but I dodged a bullet here!

What a great story. Glad to hear everything is OK bro! Thanks! Me too. One other thing I said on MWGL was... we should all drop our fragile tube amps from 5 feet in the air onto the concrete to get them to sound their best. Wait... No, that's a bad idea!

You should share your story over at Rig-Talk. No one hangs out here anymore.
