Has anybody seen or tried the Hot Mod V2 or Lynch mod from Legendary Tones in the their QR? Pretty sure it would work in the QR. Not that I don’t like my current tone but, seems interesting. It’s seems it was designed more for classic Marshall amps but, don’t know why it wouldn’t work for the QR.

I’ve been interested in the Lynch mod as well. I’m sure it would work in the QR, but for me I’m more interested in putting it in my JCM 800

Yeah Scott says no go for the mod in his amps. Sure it would go great in your JCM 800. An extra preamp tube never hurts. Might eliminate the need for boost as well!
