Somewhat reluctantly letting this one go: reverb.com/item/34817261-splawn-nitro-fully-loadedKiller, killer sounds - extremely versatile with the new/old and mid cut/boost switches. Only reason for selling is that I also have a fully loaded QR and I am just much more of a 1st Gear player these days. I think this clip is floating around these forums somewhere, but here it is again. iPhone recording with no post-production trickery: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z_biQJsAhQI have it listed at $1,750 on the Verb, but that’s to help offset their ever increasing fees. Happy to entertain offers from forum members. I really want this one to go to a good home!

Just dropped the listing price to $1,600 - still happy to entertain offers from forum members. Seems like gear is not moving as quickly these days based solely by how long cool items in my 'watch' list on Reverb are still there - and at reasonable prices. Gotta be economic caution from COVID, I guess. If the listing gets stale with no offers, I may take it down and re-list at a later date. I want to be very fair to the buyer, but don't want to just 'give' it away, either. At some point, the amp is worth more just sittin' in your room!

I have decided that lack of interest is a sign from the Tone Godz - so I unpacked her, sat her on top of my G12EVH loaded straight front 4x12, cranked her up - and wondered why I ever listed her in the first place! Sometimes nice to 'rediscover' why you liked a certain piece of gear in the first place before its gone. After playing with the settings and the old/new & mid/cut switches, I just cannot part with this amp.

Congrats Thank you so much. Yes. So odd that these amps do not have greater ‘command’ on the new or used market? Other boutique amps (that arguably don’t sound nearly as good) Have waiting lists new and are snapped up in less than a week used (?) I’ve owned several more expensive heads - many of which (who shall remain nameless) sound - to my ear anyway - very ‘solid-statey’ as you wind them up - something very ‘fizzy’ and ‘practice ampy’ about the gain - but SOOPER loud. Which you really don’t want with fizzy, solid-stately, practice-ampy sounding gain!!! By contrast, Splawns just sound so ‘organic’ and ‘woody’ as you crank them up. Literally the ONLY reason I was considering selling is that I can get really, really close to Nitro territory in 3rd gear, ‘new’ voicing with the mids ‘cut’ on my QR. But at the end of the day, I figure I own this thing - I ordered it new - it sounds incredible in its own right - WTF. Keep it and enjoy owning it!!!

I know this is several years old, but if you are still considering parting with that Nitro, it is the exact model that I am wanting. Let me know.

I've seen Nitro's in the classifieds as well as other Splawns etc. I don't hang out at The Gear Page because...well....I just don't.
