So we all know and love the 3 gears on Quick Rods and Street Rods but I was poking around and saw that others don't have the gears.
For the SuperSport I get it, it's a smaller less expensive model but the Nitro doesn't have them either and it's a monster!
I'm not a huge fan of the Nitro, it seems more geared (no pun intended) for the metal folks, I'm more of a classic rock guy... is that why there aren't gears on it? Just wondering.
Seems like the gears are Scott's thing, and they're totally cool!
Edit: I was wrong, the SuperSport has first and second gear that you can control via the footswitch...

Just taking a guess here, but I think there might not have been enough room on the Nitro for 3 gears with the resonance control? The resonance is what gives the nitro it's versatility - like having a bold or spongy control.

Yeah, just always figured the Nitro was in a class by itself. No gears needed like Tempest is saying. The Gears are more of the modded Marshall hot, hotter, hottest thing.

I am old Marshall 2203 player and really don't use the gears. I just set it up so I can clean up when I turn down. I kinda settled in on gear 2 it sounds most like my 79 2203. Gear 1 is close but a bit thinner sounding, I have not used gear three much at all.
