So we played another gig at a big venue in San Juan Capistrano (the Coach House). It was a 45 minute supporting gig for a well known David Bowie tribute act and we got raw footage taken. I took a crack at editing it down (usually the other guitarist does it but I wanted to try, first time effort), it's more than twice as long as it should be (8 minutes) for a promo type of thing but it gives a pretty good feel for how the gig went.
I thought it came out pretty well.
Yeah that's me way over on the right! Of course this is before the Street Rod blew up and got repaired (now sounding better than ever).

WOW...Thanks for sharing that. That was cool. Looked like a great time too. I'm a closet Blondie fan Looked like you and the other guitarist have the same guitars? And the Street Rod wasn't mic'ed. Not that it needs it. Great job on the talk box too man - that was impressive. Good stuff.

Not that it needs it. Great job on the talk box too man - that was impressive. Good stuff. Thanks! Yeah Lisa is great and she really crushes the Blondie stuff. Our guitars are very similar, both PRS 24 fret jobs... but his is more expensive! Mine is a CE 24 (1997) and his is the Custom model with the Floyd Rose and the \m/ pickups. Both tobacco sunburst though, they look very similar, his has the bird fret inlays and mine has dots. They actually miked my extension cab (the Blackstar on the bottom) which had a Greenback in it. Unfortunately I was low in the mix for a lot of the night. It was a fun gig, the keyboardist had never played a gig like that, his band does the winery thing which is fine, but when you're playing to a sold out house of over 600, it's pretty inspiring! We tried to snag him away from his other band as a permanent member but he's loyal to the other band and only has time for one. Sigh...
