I wanted to share this little update and it has been awhile so I'm posting this here while it is fresh on my clipboard. It is budget in the sense that I don't have expensive or exotic pedals - just the basics to get the job done. When I redid this I took all the pedals off the board. Cleaned all the sockets with contact cleaner. Redid some of the velcro. Reran the power. I took out my Big Muff. Then added an A/B/Y box and a Looper (to the loop). I also labeled all the important cables. I recently got an MXR A/B pedal (the square grey box on the 1st row) so I could maximize my 'front end' pedals. So the guitar input goes in the Wah > Bad Monkey > Phaser and then the MXR can split that to either the front end of the Splawn or the Recto OR BOTH  Then the loop comes on the second row with chorus > delay > eq > reverb > Boss Loop Station > loop return on amp. Right now I'm running the loop on the Rectoverb but it is easily switchable to the Splawn. The Loop Station is the red one on the far left of row 1 (ran out of room / lots of fun but have not had time with it) I use a OneSpot adapter that powers 9 pedals.

Nice board! You need a flanger!

A loop switcher would eliminate the need for the Splawn pedal too.

^ How so? Yeah, I do need a flanger at some point. No room at the moment

This is the one I have. It can control all channel switching functions on the Splawn.

OK. Cool. I remember you talking about this puppy before. Probably a little over my 'gear' budget and pedal board real estate parameters. So you can use this as a 'loop station' or 'loop bone' and run it into both amps along with all the other things it does? Oh, and it does your amp channel switching, OD1/OD2 and Solo boost?

Not sure what you mean by loop station/bone? It’s not a looper in the sense that you can record chord changes to solo over. It’s a means to switch on/off multiple parameters with only one click of the foot switch.
I have 3 digital, midi controlled pedals. Plus whatever other pedals we all have. Some are run in “front” of the amp, some in the fox loop and others (wah) are not run into the looper at all. As an example If I have a song with a clean, rhythm and solo sections I can program it to -change to clean channel, add chorus, add hall reverb and long delay. Then switch to rhythm gear 1 OD1 with a smaller room reverb Then for the solo switch to Gear 2 OD 2 with a longer reverb and ambient delay and engage the solo boost. Each of those changes happen with only one button to step on- no more pedalboard tap dancing.
The unit I have is actually an older unit. There are two newer versions from that same company (Musicomlab). Plus Boss makes some killer loopers too. You could probably get a looper like mine for +-/$200 now.

OK. Cool. Thanks for the explanation. Ha ha though - your unit is not a 'looper' but you keep referring to it as a 'looper' LOL I didn't mean to use that term either. A looper to me, like you stated, is something that takes an original track and plays it back for you so you can play over it or layer something else on. I have one of those. I just bought it. The red Boss LS1 Loop Station at bottom left of my board. Only used it long enough to know that because it doesn't have a lot of buttons you have to be careful of how you press on it to get it to work right Now, what I was asking before about was something like a FX loop sharing device where you can run your FX pedals into the FX loops of 2 different amps at the same time. I know ToneBone makes one and they call it a Loop Bone but that is just their marketing thing.

It is a looper. Just not in the sense you’re thinking. All of the pedal are connected to it through a series of what is called “loops”. I guess technically it’s called a loop switcher.
I’m not sure about using it for two amps Fox lopps simultaneously.
