Hello....
I have a quick rod with KT 88 tubes. I needed to replace them, but broke one.
I know that on Marshalls ppl remove the outer two tubes to half the wattage. Can I do that too ? I am running the amp on halfpower anyways ?
Or will running it with two tubes only damage the amp ?
Regards Carsten

You can do it but I think you have to lower impedance setting. So if it was on 8 ohm with 4 tubes.....then switch to 4 ohm with 2 tubes. Someone please correct me if i am wrong....
