Have any of you guys tried Ceriatone amps? If so how do they compare to Splawn amps? I was thinking of getting Yeti or Chupacabra possibly as a kit but I'm kinda up thinking it might be redundant to have 2 hot rodded Marshall type amps.

Never tried but heard some parts are not made in US. Also heard they aren't as good as Metropolis amps.

From what I understand they are completely an Asian built amp. Korea, I think. I have heard great things about them but I have never played one. The YouTube demos sound great and the prices are damn good. I’d play one in a heartbeat.

Im not a stickler for country of origin. I emailed Nik and he got back to me really quick. I saw they had a BE-100 clone so I asked if he could do something like a Butterslax or JJ. He seemed to think a Butterslax was doable but not a JJ. I would like to grab one of these as a kit. Not sure if I need another hot rodded Marshall but Im tempted.

I didn’t know he was doing a BE style amp...tempted indeed. And yes, OF COURSE you need another hot rodded Marshall!!!

You are right I do need another one. They have a Meshuggah clone coming out too but that sound isnt my cup of tea. They have a BE-50,100 and both as deluxe models. I just bought a KSR Orthos but Im tempted to pull the trigger on one of these.

I’d be all over that BE-50. Right now I have my JCM800 being modded by a local amp builder. So until that is done and paid for I’m not in the game for a new amp.

Bruce Egnater has an amp building where they give you a Marshall based kit and teach you what everything does and how to change components to mod it. My wife gave me the blessing to go but its in Michigan. For 1600 you get a two day class and a 50 watt Marshall style head. If I can swing it Im going to try to go. I've always wanted to be able to build/mod my own. I would love to get the BE-50 or 100 kit but I would probably be over my head

Maybe that’s only the USA site, idk. Maybe you can still buy a kit directly from Nik. I would also like to build an amp, but I’d probably be in over my head too. I recently bought a Peavey Windsor with the intention of trying my hand at a few mods...

I saw a Nitro mod for a Windsor yesterday. Apparently that one is a good platform for a ton of mods. I'm really thinking of getting the BE deluxe and just leaving the headshell and tubes off. I can buy a headshell/tubes in the states.

I think there is a Thump control and a tone control plus another couple switches Looks like about 3 or 4 extra knobs and a switch.
