I just want to start by saying, Thank You. All of you. This forum was very influential in my purchasing of a Quickrod. I’ve been looking for my sound for years and this Quickrod nails everything I’ve ever wanted. I’m currently running a 50 watt QR I think it’s a 2013 but I can’t remember now. Putting it through a 1960a 4x12 with WGS ET-65’s and I am absolutely in love with it. Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum and say thank you all. There are so many informative threads here that influenced me to go ahead and pull the trigger on a QR.

I just mixed in some ET 65 with my cabs good sounding speakers. Congrats ! What did you end up mixing them with? I do like the quad of them but have decided to mix in a couple of the Heritage G12H(75) greenbacks with them. They should be here next week. Avatar Speakers . Com is running a 10% sale on all speakers right now so I couldn’t resist to pick up a couple Greenies.

2 watchtowers and 2 et 65 in each of my A-cabs and my B-cab has original older greenies in it. Now I have an A-cab for rehearsals and a cab to take to gigs and not lugging this stuff up and down stairs all the time.. The et65 are smoothing out nicely I did run a drum machine through the cab to break in the new ones a bit.
