Hey guys... Just received my 2018 Fully Loaded Quickrod 100 with EL34s. Only have about an hour of time into messing with it but am very happy with the tones Im pulling out of it so far. Scott is a great guy to work with and was very patient with all my questions and all my customization that I chose for the amp. What I mean by customization is the Headbox style , Tolex color , piping color , Chicken head knobs and knob color , face plate color and grill color. It was fun to be able choose all those things to fully customize it to how I wanted it. As for the amp itself... I plan on spending more quality time with it as time permits. For now here are some pics for you guys. Glad to be here.
Note: I am planning on ordering a SPLAWN 2X12 with Creambacks to go with the Quickrod. Scott highly recommended those speakers since Im a fan of early Van Halen and George Lynch / Warren DeMartini era 80s hard rock.

Saw this over at Rig Talk . Nice looking amp . Have you got to really crank it up yet ? I use Creamback Ms & Hs with one of my EL34 Super Sports , really nice speakers

Only played it at a lower volume using the loop master volume. I will crank it at some point for sure. Cheers. Mike |

What speakers in the Mesa cab...V30’s?
A lot of guys feel that there’s too much mids for the QR with those speakers. I have a cab with WGS ET-65/ Veteran 30 combo. Sounds great with my Blackstar but I didn’t like it with my QR.

I already had the MESA cab to go with the ENGL Savage 120. The V30s work great with it. As soon as finances allow I am going to order a SPLAWN 2X12 with Creambacks in Purple Tolex to match the QR. Scott highly recommends the Creambacks with the QR.
